• Maintain compliance with all company policies & procedures.
  • Participate in company PI (performance improvement) activities as requested and assist management with reports & information.
  • Coordinate & facilitate annual compliance training for all employees.
  • Perform internal audits to determine compliance with pharmacy’s compliance plan.
  • Run necessary pharmacy reports, help track data.
  • Proactively note discrepancies in patient’s prescriptions & bring to the attention of the pharmacist.
  • Improve & maintain store condition, maintenance, & appearance for the safety, health, & well-being of customers & employees, & ensure adherence to applicable government regulations & laws.
  • Improve prescription numbers, pharmacy sales, profit, & image through the accurate filling of prescriptions, and by providing courteous & efficient service to customers inclusive of patients, prescribers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, payers, and health systems.
  • Ensure that operations are in compliance with all applicable local, state & federal regulations and company policies governing all drugs and products; maintain required records, documentation, and reports.
  • Ensure completion of all required reporting.
  • Manage & attain inventory budgets to include selecting & ordering new, promotional, and permanent merchandise; keeping stores in stock, and liquidating overstocked, slow-moving, and/or old store merchandise.
  • Recommend & implement asset protection controls and procedures to identify & minimize profit loss.
  • Provide leadership in integration, and implementation of new clients, clinical programs, and operational efficiencies.
  • Serve as go-to person for all compliance issues, and confer with pharmacy owner regarding same.
  • Monitor & follow-up to be sure pharmacy & employees are in compliance with all accreditation standards. Review pharmacy’s policies & procedures annually with owner.
  • Facilitate & participate in any survey, audit or inspection by authorized regulatory agencies.


  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration or a related field, including an educational background in Pharmacy (whether as part of the same degree or as part of a separate degree).
  • Must have 3 years of managerial experience in the medical, dental, or pharmaceutical field.

  • Prep meds per physician orders; detect therapeutic incompatibilities. Process prescriptions and dispense meds
  • Control meds by monitoring drug therapies; advise interventions
  • Provide advice about health issues, symptoms & medications in response to customer inquiries
  • Train and manage staff
  • Order and sell meds and other stock; meet medical reps
  • Manage budgets, keep records, and prepare publicity materials and display marketing services
  • Perform MTM for patients; provide vaccinations
  • Attend pharmacy related audits; work on rx30 software to bill medications
  • Process OTC, prescription, and specialty medication to health insurance
  • Maintain inventory of all medications


  • With Req. Pharm.D. or equiv. (will accept foreign equiv. degree or Registered Pharmacist status as equiv.)
  • With 2 years experience in retail or specialty pharmacy, or a Bachelor’s degree or higher sufficient to obtain license to practice pharmacy in Delaware (that is, either a U.S. degree in pharmacy from inst. accredited by Delaware Bd. of Pharmacy or American Council of Pharmaceutical Education, or foreign degree in pharmacy if accompanied by cert. from Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Comm.), plus 5 years of progressively-responsible post-baccalaureate experience in retail or specialty pharmacy
  • Must be licensed to practice Pharmacy in Delaware
  • Must have knowledge of rx30 software, and knowledge of OTC, prescription, and specialty medications
